Our Pastor is Dr. Eric Burmahl originally from Durham, NC.  Eric serves as Senior Pastor of Shallow Well and as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has recently completed his Doctorate of Ministry through Liberty University.  "Sharon and I are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Shallow Well Church family. We believe God is at work here and are excited about the plans He has for Shallow Well Church."  Eric's classes and sermons are completely Bible based and true to the scriptures.

What time should I arrive?  Sunday school classes begin at 10 am.  Worship services start at 10:55 am.

Where do I park?  We have large parking areas on both sides of the church.  Other than the plainly marked handicap spots, you are welcome to park anywhere.

Where do I go after arrival?  From either parking lot, there are well-marked entrance doors to the Sanctuary.  Once you come inside, you will find friendly, accommodating GREETERS in red vests ready to help you navigate to the right location.  They will make sure you are directed to the proper Sunday School class or direct you to a seat in the Sanctuary for Worship.

Can I trust the church staff with my kids? 

Absolutely!  Shallow Well Church uses Active Screening Faith's services to perform background checks on everybody that works with the children.  Many of the kid's teachers have been here for many years, but they are still required to have a background check.  Also, we have well-equipped classrooms that are designed to eliminate the need for teachers to leave the room, including on-suite bathrooms and wash areas.  We also assign two teachers for each class to ensure proper oversight.

You are always welcome to go with your child to Children's Church or to stay in the Nursery with your child if they feel unsettled.  And of course, you can keep your child with you in the Sanctuary if that is best for your child.

Will I feel welcomed here?  Shallow Well Church welcomes everyone regardless of previous church experience, denominational preferences, cultural differences, geographical backgrounds, or anything else you may feel makes you different.  We have people from all walks of life, all geographical areas, and all cultural backgrounds.  The uniting factor we all have in common is the belief in Jesus Christ as our Savior and the truth of the Bible.
